Tomorrow, we stand with the families of Rainbow Terrace.

The June 23, 2025 explosion changed lives forever. More than a year later, families and residents continue to seek answers about what happened, how the response was handled, and what comes next.

On Thursday, October 1, I am asking residents, community organizations, advocates, service providers, and concerned Clevelanders to join Rainbow Terrace families as they call for transparency, answers, support, and accountability.

Here is a shout out to the Western Reserve Chapter of 100+ Women Who Care. It was founded in November 2010 by Ginger Azzolina, Mari Hageman, Mary Hogan, Laura Mackey and Patty Weingart. Four times a year they host a meeting for 100 women who come to learn and support nonprofits providing services within the Western Reserve. Three nonprofit names drawn from a fishbowl are given five minutes to make a pitch about their programs. Members vote and the winner receives $10,000.

We are grateful beyond words that on Tuesday July 28th The Reverse Ride Along was voted the winner! The money will help us continue to build relationships between police, other social service providers and the community.
