Cleveland American Indian Movement

Cleveland American Indian Movement Activism in our local and greater community of native people.

09/28/2025

The Cleveland American Indian Movement is part of the long legacy of AIM founded in 1968 — a movement for sovereignty, self-determination, and justice for Indigenous people. We are activists first and foremost, standing up for our rights, our culture, and our future generations.

🌿 Our Purpose Here in Cleveland:
• Connect and organize Native people living in Northeast Ohio.
• Defend our communities and the rights of Native people.
• Protect and celebrate our culture, language, and ceremonies.
• Educate the public about who we really are.

🤝 How You Can Be Involved:
• Join us at our meetings and community events.
• Volunteer your time to support Native youth, elders, and community action.
• Stand in solidarity with local Indigenous struggles.

We welcome all Native relatives living in the Cleveland area and our allies who respect our sovereignty and culture. Together we can strengthen our community, defend our rights, and keep our traditions alive.

Wópila táŋka (thank you very much) for supporting this work.
