Friends in the Cleveland metropolitan area, this Sunday at 2:00 PM, the CIM Organ Department will present our annual studio recital on the Cleveland Museum of Art's, McMyler Memorial Organ. The program includes works by Bach, Buxtehude, Chaminade, Franck, Langlais, Liszt, and Whitlock. This recital is free and open to the public, however tickets are required and can be accessed at the link below.

Come beat the cold on February 8th at 4 PM with some warm Romantic era harmonies played by our guest recitalist, Dr. Damin Spritzer! Mark your calendars for a wonderful program of works by Dayas, Karg-Elert, Liddle, Rowley, Tournemire, and Willan on the historic 1909 Schuelke organ at St. Stanislaus' Roman Catholic Church. This recital is free and open to the public, with a suggested donation of $20.

Last Saturday, members of the Cleveland Chapter met with our Akron counterparts for our first joint event after voting to merge. To mark this auspicious occasion, 25 participants gathered to visit some of the great instruments of Akron. A huge thank you to those who hosted and attended this fun and educational event. We look forward to a bright future for the Northeast Ohio Chapter!

This Sunday, October 12th at 2:00 PM at Baldwin Wallace University, Lindsay-Crossman Chapel (56 Seminary St, Berea, OH 44017) the Cleveland Chapter is sponsoring a lecture on Roy Stoughton and Albert Reimenschnieder by Kiersten Hopko, a current undergraduate student at BW. Come and support the next generation of scholarship in organ, as well as learn about some of the history of the Cleveland Chapter! A reception will follow in Roehm Lounge for those who attend.
