Technology can expand what is possible in the classroom, at work, at home, and throughout the community. However, innovation only creates progress when people can access it, understand it, and use it confidently.
On Education Technology Day, Save Our Families recognizes the power of digital tools to strengthen learning, creativity, communication, and economic opportunity. We also recognize that many people have been expected to navigate an increasingly digital world without patient, practical instruction.
Save Our Families offers personalized, one-on-one lessons to help community members learn:
• Basic computer skills
• How to use Google Workspace, including Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive
• How to use AI large language models, also known as AI LLMs
• How to evaluate AI-generated information and use these tools safely and responsibly
• How to build confidence in completing everyday digital tasks
Lessons are paced according to each person’s experience, goals, and comfort level. No previous technology experience is required.
Technology should open doors, not widen gaps.
