Adult volunteer leaders and units that allow youth or units to engage in prohibited or unauthorized activities in contravention of program requirements, and leaders who fail to take steps to stop any such activities, put youth and the organization at risk.

Tons of smiles were spotted on NYLT's stretcher race course yesterday 📸 This exercise teaches Scouts to work together as a team to get around the course, overcome obstacles, and how to rely on each other throughout the process. This was no easy event, but the troops were all smiles throughout the race!

Flash flooding is one of the most dangerous events that can occur during outdoor activities; however, because it happens infrequently in most areas, it is often overlooked as a safety consideration. While the majority of fatalities occur inside vehicles attempting to cross floodwaters, significant risks remain for campers and hikers caught in mountain passes, dry riverbeds, or near rising streams during heavy rain.
