September 1st is almost here, and we are getting ready for a brand-new school year! 📚❤️

Miss Raegen has been busy preparing for this next chapter in life. We’ve been school shopping, getting our hair done, and TODAY she reached another exciting milestone....she got her driving permit! 🚗🙌

But getting ready for her future has been about so much more than school supplies and a new school year.

Raegen has been working at the Grace Closet, learning about work ethic, responsibility, showing up, serving others, and taking pride in the work she does. She has even learned CPR and First Aid....adding real-life skills that build confidence, independence, and the ability to help someone else when it matters most. ❤️

And while I’m proud of every one of these accomplishments, I’m even more proud of the work she has been doing on the inside.

Healing is a journey. It takes courage, consistency, honesty, and a willingness to keep showing up even when the work is hard. Raegen has been dedicated to her journey, putting the tools she has learned into practice and growing a little more every day.

As she prepares to walk into this new school year, I see a young lady growing in confidence, finding her voice, learning responsibility, discovering what she is capable of, and truly beginning to walk in a place of joy and happiness.

September 1st isn't just another first day of school for Miss Raegen. It represents another new beginning and another step toward the life she is working hard to build.

We are so proud of you, Miss Raegen! 🎒📚✨

Keep learning. Keep healing. Keep growing. Keep laughing. And keep discovering the beautiful young woman you are becoming. ❤️

What a journey it has been... filled with prayer, hard work, faith, and God's incredible provision. Every challenge has brought us to this moment, and we couldn't be more excited to begin this new chapter.

The Grace Closet is more than a resale store... it's a place of purpose. Every purchase helps support the mission of Heaven's Army while providing opportunities for our residents to gain valuable job skills, build confidence, and prepare for a brighter future.

Sharing the Blessing ❤️🇺🇸

One of the greatest joys of ministry is being able to take what has been entrusted to us and share it with others. Today, we had the privilege of delivering these patriotic supplies to VFW Post 1839 in Cleveland.

We are incredibly grateful for every person, business, church, and organization that donates to Heaven's Army. Your generosity doesn't stop with us....it continues to bless others throughout our community.

Because of your kindness, we're able to turn around and support organizations that are making a difference in the lives of others.

Thank you for believing in our mission and for helping us be the hands and feet of Jesus. Together, we are proving that when a community comes together, blessings multiply.

Please know that every donation you entrust to Heaven's Army has the opportunity to impact lives far beyond our walls. We don't just receive blessings... we share them. ❤️

Today my heart is overflowing with gratitude.

Sometimes life changes in a single night.

A sweet family I know opened their hearts and home to three precious children last night. They said "yes" when these little ones needed safety, love, and stability. As you can imagine, they are starting with very little and could use our community's support.

We are looking for the following:

💗 Girl: Size 5T, Shoes Size 9
💙 Boy: Size 4T/5T, Shoes Size 9½
💗 Girl: Size 2T/3T, Shoes Size 6
🩵 Diapers: Size 6

If you have new or gently used clothing, shoes, or diapers that you would be willing to donate, it would be such a blessing to this family during this transition.

What an incredible day for Heaven's Army - Home of Amazing Grace!

Today we picked up the amazing donations collected through the internal support campaign hosted by Mrs. Kimberly Rose McKee and Mrs. Barbara Beninati with KSBJ in support of our new Heaven's Army-The Grace Closet located at 109 N. College Street in Cleveland.

Grace Closet is so much more than a resale store. It is a Career Development Center for the women in our Home of Amazing Grace. Every donation helps create a real-life learning environment where the women can develop valuable job skills such as customer service, inventory management, merchandising, pricing, teamwork, leadership, financial responsibility, and workplace communication. These are skills they will carry with them long after they complete our program.

When Grace Closet opens, our community will have the opportunity to shop for great quality items at affordable prices while also investing in the restoration of lives. Every purchase helps provide meaningful vocational training and supports the mission of Heaven's Army.

A special thank you to Mrs. Kimberly Rose McKee, Mrs. Barbara Beninati, the KSBJ team, and every person who donated. Your generosity is helping us build something that will create lasting impact for years to come.

Afterward, Mrs. Kim and Mrs. Barbara treated me to lunch at Chuy's, and I had the privilege of recording an interview with Mrs. Kim for Community Beat. I'll be sure to share the link as soon as it's available!

And yes... we were so busy talking, laughing, and enjoying lunch that we completely forgot to take a picture together! 😂 I guess that's what happens when you're having such a great time.

What a great evening spent with a few of our ladies from The Woman's Club of Cleveland at Thursday Night Steak Night at VFW Post 1839 in Cleveland!

Not only did we enjoy an amazing meal, but we were also honored to present the VFW with a check from our club in support of the incredible work they do for our veterans and our community.

There's nothing better than good food, great fellowship, and giving back to organizations that make a difference. ❤️

If you haven't been to Steak Night yet, be sure to check it out...every Thursday night starting at 5p! Go hungry, enjoy a delicious meal, and support a wonderful local organization while you're at it.
