Today, we signed the lease and received the keys to the future home of Heaven's Army – The Grace Closet at 109 N. College Street in Cleveland, Texas!

This is more than a new location....it's a new opportunity to serve the women of Heaven's Army Home of Amazing Grace. The Grace Closet will be a Career Development Center where women can gain hands-on workplace experience, learn valuable business skills, build confidence, and prepare for a brighter future.

We are incredibly grateful to Austin Bank for their grant support, which helped make this opportunity possible. Their investment is helping us create meaningful opportunities for the women we serve.

As we begin preparing the space, we invite our community to be part of the journey. Whether you help us paint, decorate, organize, mentor, teach skills, or simply pray, there is a place for you in this story.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Heaven's Army through the years. We cannot wait to welcome you to Cleveland and share this next chapter with you.

How EXCITING!!

To our amazing Brewtique & More family,

After much prayer, planning, and seeking God's direction, we are excited to announce a new chapter for Heaven's Army. Effective July 1, 2026, we will be relocating to Cleveland, Texas. As part of this transition, Heaven's Army Brewtique & More will become Heaven's Army – The Grace Closet.

While our location and name may be changing, our mission remains the same: creating opportunities for women to heal, grow, learn, and build a brighter future.

We are incredibly grateful for every customer, donor, volunteer, and supporter who has walked alongside us the past 2 years in Shepherd. Your support has never been just about purchasing a cup of coffee, a gift, or a piece of clothing. Every purchase has helped us invest in the women of Heaven's Army Home of Amazing Grace and provide opportunities for growth, restoration, and hope.

As we move into our new location, our focus will shift away from coffee and more toward what has always been the heart behind our store....providing hands-on career development, workplace experience, and business training for the women we serve. We will continue offering quality boutique items, gifts, and resale treasures, but with an even greater emphasis on developing valuable skills that help women prepare for successful, independent futures.

One reason for this change is that our new location is surrounded by several wonderful coffee shops owned by people we consider friends. We respect and appreciate them and have no desire to compete. Instead, we want to focus our efforts on the purpose behind what we do: equipping women with real-world experience, confidence, and opportunities that can help transform their lives.

As we make this transition, we invite our community to be part of the journey. In the coming weeks, we will need helping hands to paint, decorate, organize merchandise, assemble displays, move inventory, and prepare our new space. More importantly, once our doors open, The Grace Closet will become a place where community members can volunteer alongside the women of Home of Amazing Grace—sharing skills, offering encouragement, building relationships, and helping mentor women as they develop workplace and life skills.

This new chapter is about more than a new name or a new location. It is about bringing our community together to create opportunities, build confidence, develop skills, and help women discover their God-given purpose....Putting UNITY back in commUNITY!

We hope you will continue this journey with us and visit us in Cleveland. Thank you for believing in our mission and for helping us create a place where lives are changed, futures are restored, and women are empowered to thrive.

Today, our Heaven’s Army family is celebrating a very special milestone and an incredible young woman.
We are beyond proud to announce that Ms. Evelyn Lopez, a graduate of Heaven's Army, will be graduating High School this Friday, receiving her diploma, and graduating as Valedictorian of her class.

Ms. Evelyn graduated from Heaven’s Army in March 2026 and returned home to continue rebuilding her future alongside her mother while continuing her education through Resilience Leadership Academy.

What makes this accomplishment so special is not just the diploma or the title of Valedictorian, it is the journey behind it. Evelyn’s road was not easy. During her time in the Home of Amazing Grace, there were many ups and downs, challenges, hard conversations, moments of growth, and character development along the way. There were moments where it would have been easier to quit, give up, or allow setbacks to define her future...But she didn’t! She continued to push forward because somewhere along the journey, she began to realize that her future was worth fighting for.

At Heaven’s Army, we believe true transformation happens when someone chooses to keep getting back up, even after mistakes, disappointments, struggles, or difficult seasons. Evelyn chose to keep going. She allowed herself to grow, mature, learn, and continue moving forward one step at a time.

Her story is a reminder that success is not about perfection. It is about perseverance. It is about resilience. It is about refusing to allow your past, your hardships, or your struggles to have the final say over your life.

Evelyn, we are so proud of you. Your Heaven’s Army family celebrates not only your academic achievement, but the strength, growth, determination, and perseverance it took to get here. Watching you continue to rise has been an honor, and we believe this is only the beginning of the beautiful future ahead of you.

Yesterday, I had the honor of attending my very first Women’s Club of Cleveland meeting, and I truly left feeling excited, inspired, and grateful.
There is something so special about being surrounded by strong, passionate women who genuinely care about making a difference in their community. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and encouraged, and I am truly looking forward to becoming part of such an amazing organization.
I believe there is so much power in women coming together to support, uplift, and serve others, and I am excited to build new relationships, learn from incredible women, and contribute however I can.
Thank you so much to everyone who made me feel so welcome. I’m honored and excited for this new journey.
