Today we remember the North American Martyrs, men who gave their lives to bring the Gospel to others.
And missionaries are still doing the same today.
So today, let's pray for the people who have left behind the familiar to share Christ: for missionaries around the world, for their safety, their courage, their communities, and the people they serve.
The Gospel still needs people willing to go. And it still needs people willing to pray. 🌎🙏

We want to hear about them. 🤍

The Jan Tyranowski Outstanding Youth Minister Award honors an outstanding youth minister, campus minister, clergy member, or volunteer who has left a lasting impact on the faith of the teens they served in the Diocese of Cleveland.
They may be serving now or have served years ago. They may be well-known—or an “unknown saint” whose greatest impact happened quietly, one teen at a time.
Nominate someone who helped lead you closer to Christ.

St. Carlo Acutis reminds us that holiness doesn’t mean becoming a different person. It means letting God transform the person you already are.
He loved soccer. He loved his friends. He loved technology. And he loved Jesus.
You don’t have to wait until you’re older, wiser, or “more holy” to start living for God.
The saints started saying yes right where they were. So can you. 🙏

The Seventh Sorrow: Jesus Is Laid in the Tomb

The stone is rolled into place.
Jesus is buried.
For Mary, the suffering of Good Friday has ended in silence and grief.

But Mary knows something we can sometimes forget:
God is still working when we cannot see it.

The tomb is not the end of the story.
Mary's seven sorrows lead us through the darkness of Good Friday, but they ultimately point us toward the hope of Easter.
As we journey through our own seasons of uncertainty, grief, and suffering, may Mary teach us to remain faithful, even when we cannot yet see what God is doing.

Mary, Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for us.
