A new pair of shoes is about so much more than footwear. It can be a source of confidence, belonging, and pride. When children have shoes that fit well and reflect their personality, they can walk into school, activities, and social moments feeling more comfortable and self-assured.

At Believe in Dreams, we’ve seen how meaningful these simple moments can be. The excitement of picking out a favorite pair, lacing them up for the first time, and stepping out with confidence can make a real impact on a child’s day to day life.

We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to A Night of Dreams tonight! 🌿

As we gather in The Garden of Possibility, we want to thank every supporter, sponsor, and community member helping dreams take root for children across Northeast Ohio.

Each guest tonight will receive a handwritten note from one of our dreamers on plantable seed paper. After the evening ends, the note can be planted and grown into something new, just like the hope, confidence, and possibility your support helps create for children every day.

This small moment captures the heart of tonight’s theme and the lasting impact this community makes possible.

Research shows that Positive Childhood Experiences, like feeling supported by caring adults, having a sense of belonging, and experiencing joy, can help protect children from the long-term effects of adversity.

Even when children face challenges at home, these positive moments can reduce the risk of depression and support healthier futures.

At Believe in Dreams, we intentionally create these experiences through meaningful programming and dream opportunities that remind children they are valued and not alone.
