We’re excited to share that we’re in the process of transitioning from Oberlin Food Hub to our new name: Forest City Food Collective!
Why the change?
Because our work has grown beyond a single place. Forest City is Cleveland’s historic nickname, and it reflects where we’re rooted and where our regional work continues to grow.
Forest City Food Collective captures who we are today: a mission-driven regional food distributor that brings people, farms, and communities together to reshape how good food moves. We’re designing a food system rooted in care, built through collaboration, and sustained by intentional design.
Over the next few weeks you’ll see updates to our logo, website, email, and our social pages. Some platforms require a short review period before our new name goes live, so thank you for your patience as we make this shift.
What’s not changing:
- Our commitment to producer & farmer-first partnerships
- Our focus on fair access to good food for everyone
- Our belief that stronger systems are built together
- Our promise to serve as a trusted, community-centered partner across the region
