Did you know that one of our own Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine played an integral role in the founding and development of the Alcoholics Anonymous movement? If you happen to be in County Mayo Ireland later in June, join our delegation from Cleveland on June 26 for a talk on the life and legacy of Sr. Ignatia Gavin, CSA, at the National Museum of Ireland. She was born in Co. Mayo in 1889 before coming to Cleveland in 1896, and later being known as "the Angel of Alcoholics Anonymous."
