We are proud to recognize Mark Swaim Fox, President and CEO of The Diversity Center, for his leadership and participation in this year’s Yom HaShoah commemoration, “From Trauma to Transformation: The Enduring Impact of the Holocaust Across Generations.”

As Vice Chair of the Ohio Holocaust & Genocide Memorial and Education Commission, Mark joined community leaders in honoring the lives, stories, and resilience of Holocaust survivors—while reinforcing the critical importance of education for future generations.

“Too many students still don’t really know this history in a meaningful way… the responsibility shifts to all of us.”

Moments like these remind us that remembrance is not only about the past—it is a call to action to build a more inclusive and informed future.
