Yesterday afternoon, the Evergreen Art Club hosted a wonderful portrait watercolor demonstration by Nancy Notarianni at the Independence Library. Nancy is a renowned watercolor artist whose work has been featured in prestigious art societies and magazines.

In front of an audience of nearly thirty participants, Nancy skillfully painted the elegant silhouette of a lady holding a paper fan. Her exceptional control of water and use of delicate colors were truly impressive, and our members were fortunate to witness her expertise firsthand.

Evergreen Artist Corp. is pleased to announce a figure painting demo by artist Nancy Notarianni.

Nancy is a member of the Evergreen Artist Corp. and a signature member of the Ohio Watercolor Society. Nancy’s art work has been displayed in many places, she has many years’ teaching experiences. Her figure watercolor painting recently won the OWS 2025 Gold Medal.

The event will take place on Sunday, May 3, from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Independence Library.

Please sign up if you are interested in attending. The Independence library’s conference room has a capacity of 75 seats; family and friends are welcome to join.

On a warm yet breezy day, Evergreen artist corp presented a captivating demonstration by the talented Cathy Welner. The Independence Library meeting room was filled to capacity with enthusiastic attendees, all eager to learn and absorb Cathy's demo process. Within a span of two and a half hours, Cathy skillfully completed a breathtaking winter scene painting on a large 300 lb watercolor paper. The audience was impressed by Cathy's remarkable speed, precision, and mastery. Judy Yen, President of Evergreen artist corp, announced several upcoming events and activities; please stay tuned for further details.

Evergreen Artists Corp invites you to attend a watercolor demo by the fabulous Cathy Welner in-person in Independence, OH. General public is welcome to attend.
The reserved independence library room can accommodate 75 person, so please register early if you are interested.

Cathy is a renowned local watercolor artist whose paintings have been juried into American Watercolor Society, Butter Museum, Ohio Watercolor Society, and many others with numerous awards. Cathy has been teaching watercolor since 1978 in universities & national/international workshops. Currently Cathy is teaching at Bath Church, Akron, OH.

It was a pleasure to see Vickie and her daughter Robin at the Beachwood Library today around noon. I am deeply moved by their commitment, having driven 50 minutes from the west side to be there. Both Vickie and Robin are now part of the Evergreen Artist Corp, an organization I have been a proud member of for 15 years. Feeling grateful for friends with like-minded passion is truly a blessing.

On February 8th, Anna Hsu’s solo art show at the Beachwood County library has a successful opening reception. The event drew a large crowd and was well received.

Ann’s Hsu would like to extend her gratitude to family, friends, and EA members for their support and camaraderie. A few event pictures are posted here. A special appreciation to EA member friends that attended the opening reception; Sibyl and James Tien, Mitzi and John Lai, Olena and George Hapster, Jeanne and John Zella, Nancy and Rick Natarianni, Charlene Dalton, Kathy and Tom Budd, and Jiangxue Han.

The art show will be on display until February 26 at the Beachwood County library for those who are interested.
