M" Club of Tarkington" "M" Club members are the staunchest supporters of the Tarkington School District supporting the Tarkington Student Foundation and other school functions.

The M Club members are the staunchest supporters of the Tarkington School District. Members make a minimum donation of $1000 (M =1000) prior to our annual event. At this time these proceeds support the Tarkington Student Foundation to give scholarships to ANY graduating senior from Tarkington to pursue a higher education whether it is a accredited college or a vocational school. These scholarships

are given to All that apply and will be paid to the institution directly. It is our mission to substantially impact the amount of scholarship money each student receives to further their education, and our annual fundraiser with the amount each member donates will help to achieve our mission. Please join the club and support our future!

GREATFUL, THANKFUL, APPRECIATIVE

Our community is the best! I’m happy to report this years event is the biggest to date and is a testament to our community. I know some of you can’t see what I see but through the good and bad we are a beacon of what is good in this old world today.
Tarkington, you showed up and showed out! Thank you to everyone that helped make this possible. We are Prairie Proud!
I’m not sure of attendance but 4000lbs of crawfish and 300 lbs of fish was consumed so you do your own math and guesstimate the attendance. Leave them in the comments. Below is a very good estimate of funds raised:

Profit: $163,090

INCREDIBLE!!

The 2027 event is April 10 at Stancil Park Arena. Tarkington Student Foundation members and Tarkington School Board Members take notice of this date. This is THE biggest event for our school district . You have a year to have this on your calendar. We would love to have you join us.

Dust has settle and the arena cleaned up. Boy , folks showed up(again) and showed out. 4K lbs off crawfish , 300 lbs of catfish, and many tired feet and aching backs later and incredibly large amount of money was raised to increase the TSF endowment.
I’d like to think everyone that came out to support, volunteered to help, donated items, bought sponsorships, and the Sr Class of 2026! Wow, what a night!
I’ll post some numbers later this week so stay turned.
