Join the Barony of the Cleftlands for our Summer Extravaganza beginning at 6:30 PM!

PSA: Due to today's extreme heat, ALL activities have been moved indoors so everyone can stay cool while enjoying the festivities.

Here's what's happening:

• Cookout & Potluck – Enjoy grilled burgers, hot dogs, and delicious potluck dishes.
• Swap Meet – Buy, sell, trade, or give away your SCA-related gear, garb, books, supplies, and more.
• Crafters' Green – Bring your current project or join in on a make-and-take craft while enjoying period music.
• Armored & Rapier Fighting – Come watch or participate in an evening of martial activities.

Whether you met us at the Scottish Games or you've been part of Cleftlands for years, we'd love to spend the evening with you. Come enjoy great food, good company, and everything that makes our Barony such a wonderful community.

The countdown is on. In just a few days, we'll gather in Wellington for a weekend of combat, archery, classes, merchants, fellowship, and fun. Also, camping is back this year!

Whether you're a veteran of the Society or attending your first event, NOWM offers something for everyone.

Join us this weekend as we kick off another memorable North Oaken War Maneuvers!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Standard Bearers ###II!

From armored combat and rapier tournaments to archery, arts & sciences, games, and fellowship, the day was filled with competition, learning, service, and community.

Congratulations to all of our new Standard Bearers and heartfelt thanks to the event stewards, marshals, volunteers, competitors, and attendees who helped make this event a success.

We are grateful to everyone who came together beneath the blue and white and look forward to seeing you at future Cleftlands events.

Gladius the Alchemist

Then: Circa 1977, in the early days of his journey.

Now: Still an active part of our community, pictured at the Rose Tournament in April 2025, and again at A Not-So-Regular Event in April 2026, where he was made a Hunter of the Mark.

Cleftlands is shaped by those who continue to return, contribute, and grow alongside it. From the earliest days to now, that continuity is what sustains our community.

Fletchings of Spring VIII: Free Flight is almost here 🏹

Join the Barony of the Cleftlands on Saturday, May 9, 2026 for a day of archery, community, and springtime fun at Liberty Park in Streetsboro.

This is a welcoming event whether you shoot, are learning, or just want to come see what SCA archery is all about.

No registration fee. Non-perishable donations will be collected for a local food pantry.
