This is the time when people - especially women - are encouraged to focus on their cardiovascular health. The Cleveland (OH) Chapter got up and moving for the 29th Annual Walk for Healthy Living!! Of course, we had to move the activity inside because we wouldn’t let the rain stop our fun. Everyone was excited to participate in this event while building the bonds of friendship.

We are sending congratulations to Cleveland (OH) Chapter Alumna member Dr. Lo**ta “Lolly” McDavid!! She is the recipient of the 2024 University Hospital Distinguished Physicians Award. Many of our members were on hand for the celebration dinner hosted by the Society of 1866.

Dr. McDavid earned an undergraduate degree at Western College for Women in Oxford, Ohio; a master’s degree in public administration and urban development from the State University of New York and a medical degree from Case Western Reserve University. An activist on both the community and national level, she is a former trustee of Miami University of Ohio, the Ohio Children’s Trust Fund, and the Cleveland Institute of Music.

We’re extremely proud and wish her all the best!
