: To some, it's the Hans Tiedemann House. To others, it's Franklin Castle. Whatever you choose to call this westside High Victorian home complete with turrets, an iron gate, and gargoyles, a history of tragedy and local lore have contributed to its reputation as one of the most haunted places in Ohio. 👻

Swipe through to take a look inside the entrance, the ballroom, and the winding staircases. Would you ever spend a night here?

For this week's , we're conjuring photos from our collections to highlight a distinct architectural feature: the "witch's hat" roof.

Commonly found on Queen Anne-style Victorian homes and buildings in the late 1800s, these steep, cone-shaped turrets resemble folkloric pointed hats, imbuing neighborhoods with a touch of fairy-tale charm.
