Living with cancer is not just a “patient” thing, it’s a friend and family thing. Often patients feel like they are in glass boxes trying to express how they feel, their emotions, their needs but no one can really hear them.

If you have a loved one diagnosed with cancer, learn about their cancer type, treatments, how it impacts their lives and let them know that you support them by trying to at least understand “them,” and not just the disease.
