BOSOMii Just some peeps in pink scrubs dedicated to the care and education of breast owners and enthusiasts. Be well!

Regardless of what ya have for t**s or bits; breasts are nonbinary. All proceeds benefit programs designed to help break down barriers to breast care. Check back for information about breast health, early detection, and a variety of other little tit bits. We are grateful for the support of our community, we are here to serve you.

Your breast has made a cyst. Congratulations on your new roommate!
Breast cysts are fluid-filled sacs, and they're one of the things that can show up with fibrocystic breast changes.
You may have heard the older term fibrocystic breast disease, but we've mostly stopped calling it that because—rather dramatically—it isn't actually a disease. It's a common, benign way breast tissue can behave.
Cysts can appear, disappear, change size, get tender, and occasionally return after being drained.

But here's the important bit: New lump ≠ “eh, it's probably another cyst.”

You cannot reliably diagnose a new lump with your fingers. New or persistent breast changes still deserve evaluation.

Everything is pink. Everything has a ribbon. Somehow even products that have absolutely nothing to do with breast health have discovered ✨awareness✨.
So here's your annual reminder: pink isn't prevention, education, screening, treatment, research, or support.
Ask what the pink is actually doing.

Cancer doesn't check your gender before showing up.
Unfortunately, healthcare sometimes does.
Early detection works best when people actually have access to appropriate screening, know what changes matter, and aren't excluded from the conversation because someone made an assumption about their body.
Breast health belongs to everybody with breast tissue.

Teenage Mutant Ninja B**b Genes...?
Nope. Doesn't have the same ring.
But BRCA1 and BRCA2 aren't the only genetic mutations that can affect breast cancer risk. There are a whole bunch of other players at this particular mutant party.
Genetics: considerably more complicated than the movies led us to believe.
