Absentee Ballot Requests are coming in the mail.
Ohio voters can expect to receive an absentee ballot application in the mail ahead of the November General Election. The State Controlling Board recently authorized the OHSecofState to send absentee ballot applications to every registered voter statewide.
Preparations for the mailing 📪 are currently underway, with the first batch of applications expected to begin arriving in voters’ mailboxes around Labor Day.
Receiving an application does not mean you are automatically receiving an absentee ballot. Voters who wish to vote by mail will need to complete and return the application according to the instructions provided.
If you receive an application, be sure to review the information carefully and keep an eye on important election deadlines. Whether you choose to vote by mail, vote early in person, or vote on Election Day, make a plan to make your voice heard this November.
If do not wish to complete the application, simply dispose of the application. If you have any additional questions, please contact our office.
