Free to Be Fit Communities

Free to Be Fit Communities Free to Be Fit Communities There will be health education and fitness programs and opportunities for 'check ins' throughout this six month long initiative.

An initiative of the Cleveland Office of Minority Health, Free to Be Fit Communities is a wellness program designed to bring individuals, families and communities together to make life style changes that will have a positive impact to their overall health and well being. People are encouraged to put together a team to participate in Free to Be Fit Communities because making life style changes can

be easier with the support of family and friends. Everyone who participates in Free to Be Fit Communities will receive information about low cost or free exercise classes, healthy recipes and information on healthy cooking and eating and other information to help support more healthy activities. Those who wish to do so can participate in a study that will look at the impact of nutrition and exercise on blood pressure, weight, body mass index and other health factors. Free to Be Communities information will be available at the Minority Health Month Wellness Walk and Health Activities taking place on Saturday, April 2nd at The Cleveland Browns Stadium. Free to Be Fit Communities ends December 31, 2011.
