Last Thursday at their gala, the club had a silent auction for a Mike Reilly bobblehead

The proceeds of the silent auction went to our program. This auction raised $750 which will go to great use!

It is race week for Kids that Tri Cleveland!!

The youth in the program will be participating in Tri CLE!

Stats for the race
🏁 4 youth participating in the Sprint Triathlon
🏁11 youth participating in the Super Sprint Triathlon
🏁1 Sprint Triathlon Relay team

This race is the official last race of the season for the youth in the program!

They have learned so much over the past months & have really created their own multisport community!

We can't wait to see them on race day!

The Lake Metroparks Pirate Triathlon at Fairport Harbor is once again a great opportunity for the youth to participate in a triathlon race 🏴‍☠️

This local race is one that we really enjoy having on the calendar!

Plus, with a few of the youth in the program the past few years, it's amazing to see their progress and their confidence

So many congrats to those that participated as an individual & on a relay team!

These youth are doing amazing things!

🏴‍☠️ It is RACE WEEK! 🏴‍☠️

We are excited to announce that we will have several youth from the program participating in the Lake Metroparks Pirate Triathlon on Sunday, July 16 at Fairport Harbor.

This local event that we enjoy supporting, plus is another great opportunity for the youth to participate in a triathlon, whether as an individual or on a relay team.

We are thankful for local races 🙌

What a great practice today at Edgewater Park today 🙌🏼

This season is going really well & each youth in the program is showing so much improvement with each practice!

We are really lucky to have such a Great Lake to utilize + have amazing views of it!

Happy Friday!

With the warmer weather, it's been great for the youth to get outside and practice the skills that they have been learning these past few months!

We are thankful for the Parker Hannifin Downtown YMCA which serves as our base for training! Their support of this program has been fantastic!

This past Thursday, the youth in the program had their first official open water swim practice!

Practicing open water swimming is very important as they prepare for the upcoming races. The more practice in the open water, the more confidence each youth can continue to build!

The youth look forward to more swimming in Lake Erie this season!

Congrats to Kendra who just graduated from Parma High School.

Kendra joined the Kids That Tri program last year and it was immediately apparent that she was really enjoying the process of learning to swim, bike, and run – all while creating new friendships with other KTT participants and the coaches.

She has really grown in the sport since joining last year. Kendra is even a leader at some of the practices.

This fall, she will begin her studies at Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois. Kendra plans to major in Business Communications. While at Milikin she will be a member of their collegiate triathlon team.

Her mom Brenda had this to share ‘Triathlon training has renewed her confidence in herself and she’s ready to transition into college life.’

All of the KTT family is incredibly proud of Kendra! We are excited to see how her 2023 racing season goes & her start at college!

Congrats to Xavier who graduated from the Davis Aerospace & Maritime. While at Davis, he was very active with Argonaut. He put in hundreds of hours on the water. At graduation, he was awarded the Mr. Pink award. Mr. Pink tragically drowned saving a child from drowning. This award honors courage and leadership.

Xavier is one of the original students that joined the Kids That Tri program when it started in 2021. While he has developed technique and skills with each of the disciplines in triathlon, cycling is his favorite. Xavier’s growth in the program has been amazing and he has become a leader at some of the practices.

Xavier intends to continue his training that he has learned from Argonaut and is pursuing a career as an EMT.

All of the KTT family is incredibly proud of Xavier! We are excited to see your continued growth in the sport and the greater Cleveland community!

Last Sunday, our youth participated in the North Coast Multisports Twinsburg Duathlon.

This is a GREAT local race for the youth to participate in each year!

Some of the youth participated as individuals and others on a relay team.

Thank you North Coast Multisports for continuing to put on this great event!
