Accelerate, Cleveland Leadership Center’s civic pitch competition, gives people with ideas for positive change the tools and support to move them forward. Between funding ($14,500 total!), coaching sessions, and connections to supporters across the region, Accelerate can help you turn your vision into reality.

Anyone can apply. No cost to apply or participate. Applications close October 31.

Ideas can be big or small, fully developed, or just getting started.

Old Brooklyn, you really showed UP for the third annual OB StreetFest! 🎉

What an incredible day celebrating the neighborhood. Thousands of you came out, the weather was perfect, the bands were incredible, and Broadview Road was full of people eating, shopping, dancing, and showing love for OB.

Seeing so many people come together to support local businesses and celebrate the place we call home is what StreetFest is all about. And we couldn’t have pulled it off without our amazing vendors, performers, sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who came out to spend the day with us. THANK YOU! 🙌

Behind the iron gates of Brookmere Cemetery, nearly two centuries of Old Brooklyn history are waiting to be discovered.

On this 60-minute Stroll, explore beautiful monuments, ornate family plots, and headstones rich with historic symbolism. Hear the stories of the German immigrants and families buried here, including names that still appear on neighborhood streets today.

You’ll also learn how sisters Linda and Karen, whose ancestors are buried at Brookmere, have helped preserve the cemetery and bring its history to a new generation.
