💔 Last week, we shared a heartbreaking reel from Cleveland Animal Care & Control featuring a severely neglected dog covered in fleas.
🐾 We’re happy to report that this sweet girl, Josie, is now getting lots of love in a foster home! She’s still very underweight and needs her spay surgery, but overall, she’s doing well and is just as sweet as can be.
❤️ We’re so happy Josie is getting the second chance at a happy, healthy life that she deserves!

💔 This is a heartbreaking case of neglect, but thanks to the caring staff at the Cleveland Kennel, this pup was able to receive a medicated bath to help get rid of the unthinkable amount of fleas covering their body.
❤️ Thanks to your support, dogs like this also receive Credelio® (lotilaner), a monthly preventative that protects against fleas, ticks, heartworm, and intestinal parasites.
🐾 Friends of CITY DOGS Cleveland spends more than $5,000 every month on this important preventative for the dogs at the Cleveland Kennel. It’s a significant expense, but we know it’s worth it. Every dog deserves to be protected from parasites and the discomfort and health problems they can cause.
🫶 Your support helps make that possible.

💊 Somehow it’s already October 1st and a perfect reminder to give your furry friend their monthly preventatives!
🐾 Adoptable City Dogs Cleveland Carly is helping us spread the word that year-round prevention is essential for keeping dogs (and cats) healthy and happy.
💔 Sadly, when Carly arrived at the Cleveland Kennel, she tested positive for heartworm disease. Thanks to your support, she, along with four other adoptable dogs will receive the life-saving treatment they need this month.
🫶 Your generosity also allows us to provide Credelio® (lotilaner), a monthly preventative, for all the other dogs who come through Cleveland Animal Care & Control , helping them stay protected from this deadly disease.
