🚶‍♀️🏊‍♂️ Walk, Then Swim!

Join us on Wednesday, June 10, for our Summer Senior Walk at the Frederick Douglass Recreation Center. We'll begin our walk at 9:00 a.m. and then cool off with a refreshing Senior Swim at 10:00 a.m.

For the first time, we're adding a swim session following the walk! It's a great opportunity to get even more exercise, stay active, and enjoy time in the pool with friends.

The pool features a fantastic lazy river where you can continue getting your steps in while walking in the water—a fun, low-impact way to stay moving! Be sure to bring your swimsuit and a towel.

We look forward to seeing you there for this exciting new addition to our Summer Senior Walks!

NCA’s IConnect Program participated in the Music & Movement Event at Independence’s Parks & Recreation.

NCA staff shared information about IConnect with members of the community. An event highlight was a Boomwhacking activity with the older adults. NCA’s IConnect brought together music, movement, laughter, and meaningful connection.

Big news for Cleveland's young people and for Y.O.U.! 🎉

We're proud to be featured in Mayor Bibb's 2026 Summer Safety Plan. As an official partner for the City of Cleveland - City Hall Summer Soundtrack, we collaborate with the city and community partners to create meaningful summer experiences.

Summer Soundtrack is the city's initiative to connect youth and families to safe, supportive experiences all summer long from jobs and internships to learning programs and community fun. Y.O.U. is listed as a partner because we've been doing exactly that for Northeast Ohio youth ages 14–18.

With over 9,000 young people applying for summer jobs across Cleveland, there is real demand and real opportunity. We're grateful to work alongside the City and fellow partners to help meet that moment.
