🦁🦌 WOW — What an Incredible Impact You Helped Make! 🦌🦁

During deer hunting season, we asked our community to consider donating deer hides to support a meaningful cause. You may remember our posts showing volunteers cleaning and preparing those hides — and today we get to share the amazing results of that effort!

Because of YOUR generosity and support, deer hide donations from across Wisconsin helped raise an outstanding:

💰 $122,176 for the Wisconsin Lions Camp! 💰

This is more than just a number — it directly supports life-changing camp experiences for children and adults with disabilities. These funds help provide a safe, inclusive environment where campers can build confidence, make friendships, and enjoy unforgettable summer memories.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated hides, helped collect them, or supported the effort in any way. Your willingness to take part in this project truly makes a difference.

🦁 From all of us with the Lions Club — we are proud of what our communities accomplish when we come together. 💛

If you weren't able to attend our Annual Meeting at the MD27 Lions of Wisconsin State Convention in person, we announced the results of the 2025-26 Deer Hides for WI Lions Camp Collection. In total, $122,176 was raised through the collection of deer hides, tails, and the sale of deer hide gloves.

We cannot say thank you enough to all of the Lions Clubs and Collection Site Hosts who spent countless hours salting deer hides and transporting them to pick up locations, to the hunters for being generous with your donations, to the bars and restaurants who used our deer hide coasters to help spread the word, to our supporters for helping to spread the word, and to our WLF Staff, especially our Facilities Team, who does so much work to make this Collection run. Stay tuned for the opening of the 2026-27 collection in September.
