We’re honored to spotlight My Fairy Godmother and I support The Girls as a donor!

My Fairy Godmother is a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring every girl feels beautiful, confident, and celebrated. They’re best known for providing free prom dresses to girls who couldn’t otherwise afford them making sure financial hardship doesn’t steal those once-in-a-lifetime moments.

Confidence doesn’t begin at prom night. It starts every morning when a girl gets ready for school. My Fairy Godmother understands that dignity is year-round. Their work in the community helps us remember Cleveland-area students that they are seen and valued long before graduation.

Children can’t learn when families are in crisis. Donors like My Fairy Godmother help us replace shame with confidence so students can focus on learning, not on what they’re missing.

Our 2nd annual back-to-school giveaway was perfect.

We spent weeks building more than an event. We built a celebration where every family felt welcomed, not judged.

We brought in resource vendors because backpacks alone don’t set kids up for success. Our families deserve direct connections to support that lasts all year.

This isn’t just about school supplies. It’s about making sure every child starts the year feeling seen, supported, and ready.

Can you believe it's already been five incredible years? We're reaching a pretty significant milestone, and this year, I really wanted to do something a little different. Instead of our usual updates, I thought it would be super cool to pull back the curtain and give you an exclusive, truly behind-the-scenes look at our journey

Usually, when I connect with you all, it's about sharing our latest projects, explaining our mission, who can contribute, and how you can lend a hand. And don't get me wrong, your support is still absolutely vital to everything we do! But this time, in the spirit of complete transparency, I wanted to show you the real groundwork – the heart and soul that goes into making everything happen. So often, you see the beautiful results, the successful events, and the positive impact, but it's rare that I get to share the immense hard work, dedication, countless hours, and incredible team effort that are truly the backbone of our success.

Our community is such a huge part of “why”we're able to thrive year after year. So, I felt it was especially important to show you, particularly our amazing donors, just how profoundly your contributions ripple through everything we achieve.

To kick things off, and with a little confession: I'm actually pretty camera shy! So, five years ago, when I decided to take a huge leap of faith, push past my fears, and start recording myself for our content, it was a massive personal challenge. Looking back at those early clips now, I can honestly see so much growth, and some of those first attempts even make me laugh out loud! You might even catch me looking a little goofy! I'm genuinely proud of how far I've come on this personal journey, and incredibly thankful for the strength and grace that have helped me overcome that initial spirit of fear.
