The Power of 3 Foundation is collecting school supplies + hygiene items for our Family Resource Fair on August 1.

Why it matters: This eases the financial burden on families in need of support and gives students the dignity of starting school prepared. One less thing for parents to worry about. One big confidence boost for kids.

Give by July 31st:

Five years ago, I lost someone very close and special to me, my brother. As we planned his memorial, our old teachers showed up with hugs, stories, and the same support they’d always given us. Reflecting back on all of their genuine generosity sparked an idea.

I told my mom, and she became my first investor. We bought book bags and supplies, and with the community behind us, launched our first Resource Fair at the Hillcrest YMCA in his memory. It started with a few backpacks in a small room.

This year the need is bigger, We have space to fill — but we need you to help us Fill the Bin . We’re collecting hygiene items and school supplies so every child can start the year confident.

Drop off donations at any Heights Library location through July 31st.
Join us at our Family Resource Fair on Saturday, August 1st.

Meeting Families Where They Are :

We chose Local Libraries as our donation hub because libraries already support the whole family. No stigma. No barriers. Just a trusted space where community happens.

Drop off hygiene items + school supplies through July 31. Then join us at our Family Resource Fair on Saturday, August 1st.
