My plans have not gone accordingly, instead of going up, things went south. Had I not been in the word, I wouldn’t have had a spiritual understanding that God was reorganizing my life, and all the pieces to get me to alignment with Him first, myself second and my calling third.

Don’t fret if things have gone south, you’re in process, just like a construction 🚧 zone, God is the master builder and knows what He’s doing.

Everyone wants to be a leader now a days, but being leader doesn’t always mean being front stage, or face of the brand, or even the founder of some mega successful company.

You are a leader if you inspire others to be better, to think for themselves, to chase their dreams, or show them what’s possible.

Sometimes leadership is quiet, hidden, boring, mundane, sometimes it doesn’t get man’s praise or a promotion. Sometimes leadership is doing what God is calling you to in this season, and trusting him with the outcomes.

Leadership is not just about what you’ve accomplished, but who you’ve become in the process and who you’ve served along the way to your becoming.

That is priceless leadership, and it doesn’t come with a pay raise necessarily, but it does come with joy & a feeling of accomplishment.

Untold stories, this is my truth…I’ve met countless women with similar experiences. This won’t appease everyone & prob won’t make sense to a lot of people…it’s for the woman who lost her way and has been grappling in silence.

I was in church the other day crying & grieving the wreckage of my life & dreams, I felt chewed up and spit out…I found myself saying under my breath “how in the world did I get here? How did I get swept up in these lies & let myself be manipulated?”

So. Much. Shame.

And the pastor started talking about how our true battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual & demonic forces that are against us, to undermine us, deceive us, take our eyes off Jesus, the true source of power, love, truth and salvation.

There is SO much talk of spirituality in the business realm, in fact I still remember the first coach I ever hired who claimed she was a Christian and a couple months in started doing tarot cards on me without my permission. I was hesitant but I thought, “well God can speak through them”. A year in I got caught up in New Age.

It looks cute, fun and sparkly but It’s a slippery slope toward a completely different realm.

My good mentor once told me, we are all seeking answers and a story to be a part of. Which one will you be a part of?

Praise God he opened my eyes bc I was on a fast track away from his plans for me, and I want to be a part of His redemptive story.

My business wasn’t built on solid ground or Spirit driven, biblical principles, it was built on the world’s, no wonder I never found my breakthrough.

I’ve made peace tearing it all down. Because in the tearing I’ve gained Jesus and he is worth more than gold. Now I get to find out what it looks like to build a godly business with God on my side, when the time is right.

For now, there’s still a lot of sifting being done in my beliefs & soul.

But here’s the reminder:

“No weapon formed against you or I shall prevail”, and whatever was meant to harm us, will not end us, but will show God’s mercy & glory for the good of others.

God’s not done with you yet, and nothing goes to waste in the Kingdom of Heaven.
