Friends of Bald Rock Heritage Preserve

Started in August 2021, we are registered with the state of SC as a public charity. Friends of Bald Rock Heritage Preserve, Inc.

Friends of Bald Rock Heritage Preserve in Greenville County, SC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization of dedicated volunteers working to protect and preserve one of the most breath-taking panoramic views in South Carolina. As of May 18, 2022, all contributions are tax deductible under our 501(c)(3) non-profit status. works in coordination and cooperation with the South Carolina Department of Natu

ral Resources to enhance the safe public use and enjoyment of the Preserve, while protecting its natural resources. The Preserve is open from sunrise to sunset daily. South Carolina DNR requires visitors to observe property regulations which prohibit graffiti, litter, alcohol, drugs, fires or fireworks. Violators will be fined $465 or sentenced to 30 days in jail. Public use comes with the responsibility to care for the land and its natural resources. SCDNR relies on your commitment to do no harm and leave no trace of your visit behind, to preserve the land for future generations. Take memories, photographs, and anything you brought with you. We ask that you leave the Preserve as you found it.
