44106 ARTFUL is on a mission to bring affordable, quality studio space to the Heights area, home to the largest population of artists in Greater Cleveland. We will provide a space that is unique, vibrant and attractive to area residents and businesses. In addition, ARTFUL will create a ga

llery which will curate shows that showcase local, regional and national artists. This gallery will also foster an educational program where students, interns and artists will learn aspects of art as a business. Our building will include a retail space that will feature the ARTFUL artists and other local creators. Our founding committee consists of artists, educators, attorneys, and local business owners, all with strong ties to the area. We bring with us artistic passion, a love for our community, and a vision for making The Heights even more ARTFUL.

One year ago today, ARTFUL completed the purchase of the former St. Albans church in Cleveland Heights — and we haven't slowed down since. Under the leadership of Executive Director Shannon Morris, we completed construction, our artists are settled into their studios, and programming like Potluck Critiques is back in full swing.
