Heights Bicycle Coalition HBC educates and encourages the Heights communities to use bicycles as a sustainable and healthy form

The Heights Bicycle Coalition (HBC) is a bike advocacy organization formed in the spring of 2010 with the goal of making Cleveland Heights a League of American Bicyclists’ “Bicycle Friendly Community.” Since its inception, the Coalition has successfully gathered more than 500 petition signatures of residents who are in favor of our mission. These signatures were presented to the Cleveland Heights

City Council on August 16, 2010, and our goals were embraced by Mayor Ed Kelley when he announced during the meeting, “We’re with you on this.”

Recently renamed, the "Heights Bicycle Coalition," we welcome cycling enthusiasts that support our mission from neighboring University Heights and Shaker Heights.

Join Mayor David Weiss TOMORROW, August 11 for a slow roll-type ride around town, in coordination with the Heights Bicycle Coalition. 🚴 Meet at 6:30 pm at Mitchell's Ice Cream at The Van Aken District. Better Streets committee is organizing a bike ride to the Open House! Join in for a quick 1.5 mile ride along Shaker ahead of the meeting.

We will meet at 10212 Buckeye Rd at 5:30pm, roll out shortly after, and arrive at the meeting around 6pm. It will be a true open house, so drop ins at any time are welcome. See the flyers for the ride and the open house below! Please share with neighbors and friends.
