Great reminders!!!

🍂As the temperature drops and the last of the leaves fall, we wanted to share a few friendly reminders about leaf-management season in Cleveland Heights:
- Leaves must be raked to the tree lawn, and not into the street. This helps us protect our storm drains and keeps frozen leaves from creating a slip hazard for pedestrians and vehicles.
- The noise ordinance dictates that loud lawn equipment, including leaf blowers, may only be used between the hours of 7 am and 9 pm.
- The City will not collect Kraft lawn bags after the last of the loose leaves are picked up. That process will begin again in May.

Join us tomorrow at 10 a.m.! The Burlington Lot was purchased by early Forest Hill residents to ensure that a small example of J.D. Rockefeller's beloved woods, through which he took his daily walks, would be preserved in perpetuity. Forest Hill has been a pioneer in neighborhood beautification. The spring clean-up of the Burlington lot has been an annual, community-building event for decades, maintaining the rustic charm and beauty of a main Forest Hill entrance.

We invite you to join your neighbors tomorrow (Sunday June 8th) at 10 a.m. to help clean up this treasured lot. It's located at the corner of Mayfield and Burlington. Please bring any tools you may have, the more the merrier!
