October is going to be a little lighter for us, but we need people to SHOW UP for the animals!

We have three demonstrations on the schedule, starting THIS SATURDAY with the Anonymous for the Voiceless Cleveland Cube of Truth at the Huntington Convention Center.
The Cube is only as strong as the activists who show up. Whether you’re experienced with outreach or you’re newer and want to stand in the Cube, we need you there. This is our opportunity to put the reality of animal exploitation directly in front of the public and have conversations that can change minds.

Then next weekend, we turn our attention to the fur industry with TWO demonstrations.
Saturday, October 10 — Masha’s Boutique Fur Protest
This one is especially important. Masha’s Boutique is holding its grand opening at Crocker Park, bringing a NEW furrier to the Cleveland area for the first time in decades. We need a strong presence to make it clear that while the fur industry may be trying to make a comeback here, the opposition to it hasn’t gone anywhere.

Sunday, October 11 — Daniel’s Leather Fur Protest
Daniel’s Leather is coming back to Ohio from NYC for another pop-up. We protested their Akron pop-up last year. This year, they’re coming to Cleveland instead. Wherever they choose to set up shop in Ohio, we can be there to peacefully speak out for the animals killed for their fur.

October may be light on the number of events, but these three matter.

Please save the dates, share the schedule, and most importantly — SHOW UP. Bring a friend. Bring your voice. Bring your signs.

The animals need people willing to stand up for them. Let’s make these three demonstrations count.

From marches and demonstrations to VegFest, there are so many ways to get involved, meet other activists, raise awareness, and be part of something powerful.

Whether you've been doing activism for years or have been thinking about joining for the first time, we would love to have you with us. Every person who shows up adds another voice, another presence, and more strength to the movement.

Come to one event or come to them all—just come be part of it. ❤️

Let’s make September a month of action, community, and momentum for animal liberation. Together, our voices are stronger.

Hello everyone! Here in the state of Ohio we are pushing for a force fed product ban. Senate Bill No. 369 has had its first hearing and we need everyone to request a second hearing. The Agriculture Committee, especially Senator Tim Schaffer, are the ones that we will call for the senate hearing and why we have only listed those senators. I know we all want to talk about the welfare of the ducks and geese, but what will get it through is talking about HPAI and how hard it has hit Ohio. The Agriculture Committee cares about money and farmers, so we need to entice them with that. There is an example of what to say for the email and call blasts, but you can make it your own. The emails pop up first, but if you scroll down, you will see how to make phone calls as well.
We need everyone to take part in this as much as possible. Please flood their emails and voicemails. Make your voice heard.

Ohio Senate Bill 369 is a piece of proposed legislation introduced to prohibit the force-feeding of birds and the sale of products derived from force-fed birds, such as foie gras. August is full of opportunities to make a real difference for animals.
It's easy to like posts, share petitions, or feel discouraged by the size of the problems animals face. But meaningful change has always depended on people who are willing to show up.
Every outreach booth, Cube, and demonstration on this schedule exists because volunteers choose to give their time. Public education changes minds. Visible advocacy influences communities. Showing up reminds industries and elected officials that people are watching.
If you've been wondering how to help, this is your opportunity. Pick one event. Just one. A few hours of your time can reach hundreds of people and strengthen the movement in ways that can't happen from behind a screen.
We all care about animals. The question is: where can our time have the greatest impact?
We hope you'll stand beside us this month. Animals don't get days off from exploitation, and they need advocates willing to be present.

We a big month for July. Something for everyone. There are a couple protests, booths, an Occurrence in Cincinnati, a beach cleanup, and an Anonymous for the Voiceless cube. Please come and join us for one or more.

This June, there are multiple opportunities to stand up, speak out, educate the public, and be part of a growing movement for animals.

Whether you've been active for years or you're thinking about attending your very first event, there is a place for you.

You don't need to be an expert.
You don't need a perfect speech.
You don't need to know anyone.
You just need the courage to show up.

Every conversation matters.
Every flyer handed out matters.
Every person who stops to listen matters.
Every voice raised for animals matters.

The animals cannot advocate for themselves. They need us to be their voice.

April is packed with opportunities to get involved—there truly is something for everyone.

Join us for our weekly foie gras demonstrations, an Anonymous for the Voiceless cube, and an open rescue in Madison, Wisconsin, where many of us will be traveling to help save beagles. We’ll also be at the monthly vegan market, as well as a VegFair in Pittsburgh where the Cleveland Coalition Against Foie Gras will be hosting a table.

A special thanks to our small but mighty crew who braved the elements last Friday to ask shoppers to leave fur and leather off their lists! Free the Animals Friday/Fur-Free Friday went well despite windy, snowy and cold weather!
