Do you have a pie recipe that always steals the show at family gatherings? Now’s your chance to put it to the test!

Join us on Sunday, July 5, 2026, during the Clermont Farmers Market for the Clermont Main Street Apple Pie Contest. Bring your homemade apple pie to the City Hall lawn by 10:00 AM to be entered into the competition.

It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood! Nothing is more satisfying than confirmation that what you think the community wants is what it really wants! Clermont Main Street is crafting our 2027 workplans to be adopted by our board in July. Our Design Committee plans included adopting the Montrose Tot Lot. As an entry point to our district, we thought it was important to the residents around it and the visitors that pass by it, are faced with a lovely amenity that welcomes them to our downtown.

So when City Councilman Bill Petersen told us moms are asking the city to improve that park, we were over the moon with excitement. He asked us to help and we were happy to tell him we have already been dreaming and planning and are eager to get started.
We’ve asked (and received) permission from our Board to move up our timeline from 2027 to now.

Step one is asking Clermont kids what you’d like to see in your park. The process is simple - grab a blank piece of paper and your crayons or colored pencils and sketch out what your dream park would be. Email your sketch to Natalie at [email protected] or bring it to our booth at our Sunday Farmers Market between now and July 12, 2026. Include your first name and age on your drawing. All those who submit will receive a special gift from Clermont Main Street.

Step two will be a party at the park on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. Follow us as we release details.
