Friday October 27 changed Western North Carolina for years to come. We have not even began to see the impact of . Many people lost homes and jobs instantly due to destruction and flooding. The tourism and hospitality industry will suffer the implications for years to come. There is a lot of need in the community as well as scammers surfacing. Our local school homeless liaisons, social workers and ESOL specialists will truly have their hands full when school is back in session and know first hand the families in need. Children are so vulnerable! As a Founder of a non-profit, I know the impact that collaborative efforts can have on blanketing needs. The is meeting the needs of 30 WNC Counties via reputable non-profits. My plan this week is to determine the needs of the aforementioned and share this information. Stay safe & well💗 Julie
