Our world-famous photographer Hector was engaging in some parkrun tourism last weekend. We hope you enjoyed the time away from Clermont! He is pictured here with his wife after finishing Eastern Trail Biddeford parkrun.

We have a short week ahead, which means Saturday will be here before we know it! This week, we're seeking the following volunteers:

Barcode scanner (x2)
Finish token support

Congratulations to Patrick, who achieved the ***50 Volunteer Milestone*** this past weekend! We are so grateful for our volunteers who make these events possible each week.

Speaking of which, we need volunteers this week! We need the following five (5) roles filled:

Timekeeper
Barcode scanner (x3--yikes!)
Marshal

Please let us know if you are willing to assist. All of the roles are easy and we will train you if you have never performed them before (and even if you have but would like a refresher).

As we enter the warmer months, remember to hydrate! Bring your friends along and let's see how we can continue to grow Clermont Waterfront parkrun.

After our late cancelation last week, we are excited to get back into the normal routine this week! We'll see everyone Saturday at 7:30 a.m. for our beautiful stroll around Lake Minneola.

***Canceled on May 9, 2026***

Apologies for the late notice, but we have to cancel the parkrun scheduled for Saturday, May 9th, 2026. As you know, we were planning to use the alternate course, but there is a national disc golf event occurring inside the park this weekend that we cannot interfere with.

Although we dislike canceling, it is obviously in the best interest that we do so.

We hope you do something fun with your Saturday, and here's a friendly reminder that Sunday is Mother's Day.

See you on Saturday, May 16 for our next free 5k around Lake Minneola! (Also, we can use volunteers for that day, if you would like to assist.)
