Maybe you came to Pig on the Pond as a kid, sticky hands full of fair food, chasing your friends between carnival rides while the smell of barbecue smoke filled the air. Now you're the one packing sunscreen and holding tiny hands as your own kids ride those same rides and beg for one more funnel cake.

That's the magic of Pig on the Pond. It's live music drifting over the pond while grandparents rock in lawn chairs. It's teenagers riding rides they swear they're too cool for. It's three generations of the same family showing up year after year because this weekend belongs to all of them.

We've been building these memories together for years, and we can't wait to make more with your family this April.

Here's to Adelaide, Abbigail, Isabella, and Shireen as they step into the 2026-27 school year, and to every one of our Pig on the Pond scholars heading back to campus this fall. New classes, new goals, new chapters- go get them.

This is exactly what Pig on the Pond is about. Not just a festival, but the doors it opens for students right here in our community long after the smoke clears and the tents come down. Every ticket, every sponsorship, every plate of barbecue helps make a school year like this possible, for our newest scholars and the ones still working toward that diploma.

Wishing all of our scholars, past and present, nothing but a great start this year. We're cheering you on.

Presented by the Florida Festivals and Events Association (FFEA), the Sunsational Awards recognize excellence in festival and event marketing, programming, and innovation across the state of Florida. To be recognized alongside so many outstanding events is truly an honor.

This is what the future looks like! 🎓✨

Project Scholars recipient Gia-Marie Tim recently completed an internship with The Home Depot’s corporate headquarters in Atlanta, working within the supply chain finance organization. Even more exciting, she received a full-time offer to return after graduation as a financial analyst!

Gia-Marie will graduate from Florida State University in May 2027 and move to Atlanta to begin her career in finance and business analytics.

Thanks in part to the support of Project Scholars, Gia-Marie has been able to focus on her education, pursue meaningful professional opportunities and prepare for her future without taking out student loans.

We are incredibly proud of Gia-Marie and honored to be a small part of her journey. Congratulations on this well-earned opportunity! We cannot wait to see what comes next.

Pig on the Pond has changed a lot over the years. New vendors, new activities, new faces. But the heart of it hasn't moved an inch: this event has always been about supporting South Lake County students.

Sponsorship applications for the 2027 Pig on the Pond are now open.

Every sponsorship dollar goes toward funding one of four scholarships awarded to South Lake County students each year. We've built options for businesses at multiple investment levels, including two new lower-commitment tiers for companies getting involved for the first time.
