For families experiencing homelessness, mental health support and safe housing often go hand in hand. When a parent or child has a stable place to live, there is more room for healing, counseling, and the wraparound care that helps families move toward hope and brighter futures.

SECO Energy Foundation Shows What Community Support Can Do! ⚡️

We are profoundly grateful to the SECO Energy Foundation for a $25,000 investment in Miriam’s Hope, Find Feed & Restore’s long-term transitional housing program supporting women and children rebuilding after domestic crisis.

Executive Director Mariah Delgado and her team recently toured the project, seeing firsthand how their support is helping create a safe place for families to stabilize, heal, and begin again.

This investment comes through the generosity of SECO Energy customers who choose to round up their bills—small contributions adding up to meaningful change right here at home.

We are grateful for partners who believe in the work of Find Feed & Restore and in building a stronger, more stable community for families.

LEADERSHIP LOOKS LIKE COMMUNITY.

What a powerful morning at today’s South Lake Chamber of Commerce (FL) breakfast! The entire morning was centered around leadership—and we were reminded that great leadership isn’t just about what we accomplish, but about how we show up for the people and communities we serve.

Pastor Brian opened the morning with a profound invocation, followed by an incredible leadership panel featuring Jean Gallagher from Disney, Tony McCoy from Hope International, and Paul Roundtree from Mainstreet Bank. Each brought a unique perspective and powerful insight into what it means to lead with purpose.

And we were given two minutes at the end to invite all the Chamber members to join us at our upcoming Battle for Hope fundraiser supporting the programs of Find Feed & Restore! 🏆

On September 26 at 6 PM, the South Lake Chamber Board, led by Donna Kirtland, will take on the undefeated Clermont Police Department, led by Chief John Graczyk, in an interactive game-show-style battle for hope!

It’s going to be a night of fun, friendly competition, and our community coming together to support the work of Find Feed & Restore and the families we serve.

We still have a limited number of tables available, and we’d love for our community and businesses to be part of it!

Community Connections Providing a Path Forward.

Yesterday at Community Collision Centers Open House for their next location, we witnessed something far greater than a ribbon-cutting.

Through NABC Recycled Rides, Community Collision, Allstate, and an incredible network of community partners, two Find Feed & Restore families received vehicles—and with them, the freedom to move forward.

One was a single father who had been riding the bus with his daughter to get her to school. He drove away in a beautifully restored Volkswagen.

The other was an Army veteran who selflessly served our country. He drove away in a 2023 Honda CR-V. 🇺🇸

The food trucks and celebration were wonderful, but the moment that stopped everyone was watching those vehicles pull away. There wasn’t a dry eye.

Because these weren’t simply cars being given away. They were burdens lifted, opportunities restored, and reminders that someone cared enough to help. We are incredibly grateful to every person and organization who made this possible. This is what it looks like when community shows up.
