They dedicated their lives to turning dreams into reality for these extraordinary children and their families. In 2015, the Central Florida Dreamplex opened its first facility to offer fitness, recreation, and therapy for individuals of all ages with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities. Today, the Central Florida Dreamplex offers traditional and recreational therapies, adaptive
sports, education, vocational rehab, and social opportunities for the whole family. Both the Clermont and Orlando sites have space for therapies, recreation, and education. Additionally, Clermont houses an accessible and adaptive fitness center. Sports clinics, practices, and games are often held at our partnering organizations, including Real Life Christian Church, Montverde Academy, and the Ice Factory, who generously provide us use of their venues at little to no cost. Turning dreams into reality for our members, organizations such as Orlando City Foundation and UCF Athletics offer their athletes as volunteers, providing an amazing experience during our basketball, flag football, lacrosse, and soccer clinics. Members, patients, and visitors to our facilities represent a diverse list of disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Sensory Processing Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, amputees, visual impairments, and other learning and intellectual disabilities.
