Greater Clermont Cancer Foundation GCCF is a non-profit foundation whose sole mission is to support the citizens of South Lake County

Our vision is for all affected families in the greater Clermont community to have access to healthcare support and the opportunity for a meaningful and enjoyable family life experience. The mission of the Foundation is to create a less stressful and more purposeful day-to-day life and family experience for area patients, by providing limited financial aid and support focused on reducing the day to

day stresses that Cancer has on patients, their families and caregivers. We are a 501(c)(3) foundation, funded by local business sponsors, organizations, individuals and fundraising community events. GCCF is 100% volunteer staffed and 100% of granted funds are disbursed to qualified recipients in the local area. Wherever possible, all of our purchases are also made within the local area.

GCCF scholarship season is in full swing! 💛

We have already awarded several scholarships to graduating high school seniors and there’s more to go!

Up next are our Focus on the Future Scholarship Grants, which GCCF awards to help young adults (age 26 and under) whose lives have been impacted by cancer pursue their educational or vocational dreams.

At GCCF, we all have our “why,” the reason we show up and give back.

“Mine is my friend Brandy. (Pictured on left)

She was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer at 39, while she was in Illinois and I was here in Florida. When COVID hit, I kept thinking, “I just wish I could be there for her the way I want to be.”

Hearing how her local community supported and encouraged her inspired me to get involved in cancer-care close to home. It’s truly an honor to be a small part of GCCF and to help bring hope when people need it the most.”
