Volunteers in our Northeast Florida Branch came out in force, spreading Christmas cheer at the St. Augustine Lighthouse Luminary Night on Tuesday evening.

Costumers With A Cause was very active this past weekend through several of our branches, helping to bring awareness and raising funds for the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation. With the premiere of the new James Gunn Superman film, we saw this as a great opportunity to help out this organization who helps fund research and improves the quality of life for individuals and families impacted by paralysis. we were able to collect well over $500 in cash donations and people were also given a special QR code where they could donate directly to the cause through their mobile devices.

Our Midwest branch was active at Jay’s Comics in Grayslake Illinois while our Northeast Florida branch gathered at the Regal Cinemas in Jacksonville on both Friday and Saturday evenings. our Northwest Florida branch was seen at IMAX Challenger Learning Center, Fallout Comics and CMX Cinemas in Tallahassee Florida, and our Central FL branch was busy at the Silver Moon drive-in in Lakeland, Florida.
All in all, it was a very heartfelt, and profitable weekend for this amazing charity, and we were happy to help out as much as we could. Thank you to all of our volunteers and everyone that came out to support us this last weekend.

Central Florida volunteers were out raising funds for our quarterly charity, Shriners Children’s Hospital, yesterday at SYFY Zephyrhills. What a great event! We were able to raise $200. Orlando Science Center Superhero Weekend was a blast! Our volunteers loved putting smiles on faces the other week!

Princesses and Heroes came together for a special visit at Tampa General Hospital on Saturday~ Bringing smiles and some goodies like stickers to each room.

We joined the Suncoast Ghostbusters at the Relay for Life at Raymond James Stadium the other week in Central FL. Heroes, Mermaids and Ghostbusters! Oh my!

Our volunteers in Jacksonville, FL took some time to spread hope and we’ll-wishes to some amazing little heroes at Wolfson Children’s Hospital on Thursday. Sure! Here’s a softer version: Volunteering our time in a selfless way is an important part of who we are as a group, and it’s something we truly value in all of our branches.
