Let’s talk about FEAR in youth sports.

When a coach uses fear to control where your child plays club ball, something is very wrong. Young athletes should never feel pressured to choose a specific program just to secure a spot on a school team.

Fear has no place on the field. Encouragement does.

A great coach lifts athletes up — they don’t hold opportunities hostage.

If a middle or high school coach tells your child they MUST play for a specific club to make the school team, that is not okay.

That's not coaching. That's coercion.

Your child deserves the freedom to try out at ANY club and explore ALL of their options. No school team spot should ever be used as a threat.

Jayce Castleman (Midfielder) and Jude Elmore (Goalkeeper) — both from South Lake High School — have committed to play soccer at Trinity College of Florida! 🐯
