Myrtle Beach Master Gardener Volunteer, Nance Southworth, made the cover of a local magazine!

This wonderful story highlights Nance's experience as a volunteer with the South Carolina Master Gardener Program, where she provides education on horticultural topics such as plant care, landscape design, pruning, and more.

Beyond her volunteer work, Nance shares how she has built lasting friendships within the Master Gardener community while working alongside fellow volunteers to make meaningful contributions to their communities.

Nance has also found an exciting way to utilize her horticultural knowledge through collaboration with the International Culinary Institute in their student gardens. She shares that it is β€œthe perfect blend of my passions: education and horticulture.”

Thank you for your many years of service, Nance! We are grateful to have you as part of this program. ❀️
