Today, the Bangladesh Association Clemson (BAC) proudly participated in the Annual International Festival 2026 at Clemson University. Our stall remained lively and crowded throughout the event.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who provided logistics support for our Henna Fest- Tajin Tanuja apu Manta Sha apu Maliha Masroor apu Tomoshree Dash apu Mehnaz Mostafiz Mohona apu Ishika Rahman Sneha apu, and Priodorshini Bristi apu. The atmosphere was truly festive, and even after the official festival hours, people continued to show great interest in the henna.

I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to those who prepared food for the festival and supported us throughout the event- Robiul Islam bhai Shakir Ahmed bhai Pritom Jadob Rehnuma Tabassum apu Md. Junayed Sadi , Saheeb Ahmad T***n Shahadat bhai Shayela Shoma apu Sharmin Jannat apu. Despite the academic pressure during this second-last week of the semester, your dedication, energy, and presence made this event truly special.

With deep respect and remembrance, BAC Clemson observes International Mother Language Day — February 21, honoring the brave souls of the 1952 Language Movement whose sacrifice allows us to speak our mother tongue with pride.

Living far from home, this day reminds us of our roots, identity, and the bond we share as a Bangladeshi community. Let us reflect on the spirit of sacrifice, remember the martyrs, and continue to uphold the dignity of our language and culture.

Dear BAC Community,
Today we successfully completed our BAC New Year Cookout 2026, and what a beautiful, joyful day it was. With more than 80 participants, including children, the event truly felt like a big family gathering filled with laughter, great food, and unforgettable memories.
This program would not have been possible without the effort and dedication of my amazing executive committee Tahia Tazin Tanuja Robiul Islam Maruf Morshed Kaniz Fatima Mishfa and Pritom Jadob, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to keep everything organized, smooth, and enjoyable. Your hard work in planning, coordinating, managing food and ride, setting up activities and cleaning, and handling countless details made the cookout a real success. Thank you for giving your time and energy to serve our community. Special thanks to Md Abdul Alim and Rehnuma Tabassum for your support regarding marination, baking, cooking, decoration and everything to make the event successful.
A heartfelt thank you to all participants as well for your enthusiasm, patience, and active participation throughout the day. Special appreciation for maintaining the schedule and supporting the program flow so everything could run on time. Your cooperation made a huge difference.
From breakfast and snacks to the exciting game show segments including kids’ and adult games, along with the wonderful efforts of our game hosts Shrabanti Mazumder Shaheda Akter Rehnuma Tabassum, every moment was filled with fun and community spirit. The Spring 2026 student orientation and the award ceremony also added to the festive atmosphere. And of course, the cookout brought everyone together in the best way with great food, great conversations, and great vibes.
We also received tremendous support from our community. Special thanks to Mashiyat Mubassera Swarna for sponsoring the chicken and Azimuddin Chowdhury and Afroja Sultana Chowdhury for sponsoring the meatballs. After the successful completion of the program, we also received a $100 donation from Azimuddin Chowdhury and Afroja Sultana Chowdhury as an appreciation for the committee members’ efforts.
I feel truly grateful to be part of such a supportive and energetic community. After the event, I received a lot of positive feedback from participants regarding the food and overall event management. Events like this remind us that BAC is not just a community, it is a family.

Dear BAC Community,
Today we wrapped up our BAC Annual Game Fest 2025 officially, which began on 30th August — and what an amazing journey it has been! This wouldn’t have been possible without the energy, teamwork, and love from every single one of you.

A big shoutout to my executive committee, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this event smooth, engaging, and festive:

Vice President – Tahia Tazin Tanuja: for her constant guidance, mentorship, and positive energy at every step, as well as organizing the Group UNO game at her place.
Treasurer – Robiul Islam: for managing finances and helping us make the best use of our resources. He also provided huge logistical support during the event — especially ride management, trophy purchase, and food arrangements. Thanks as well for organizing the Sequence game at his place with such a festive spirit.
General Secretary – Maruf Morshed: for ensuring smooth logistics and keeping everything well-organized. Special thanks for arranging a successful Poker game at his place.
Public Relations Officer – Pritom Jadob: for spreading the word and keeping our community engaged and excited. He also coordinated the group stage Chess games at his place and gave great effort on the final day to make the Game Fest successful.
Secretary of External Affairs – Kaniz Fatima Mishfa: for her continuous support and outreach efforts that kept everything connected. Her arrangement of the group stage Ludo game at her place was outstanding and festive, and she provided important logistical support on the final day.

As President, I feel truly grateful to lead such a wonderful team. Everyone gave their best — from arranging venues, managing food, handling logistics, and coordinating communications from 30th August to 28th September. It was teamwork at its finest.

A very special thanks to our respected Advisor for giving us his valuable time, guidance, and support. Your encouragement inspires us to do better every time.
And of course, huge thanks to all the players and participants! Thank you for showing up with such spirit, giving your time, and even offering your places as venues for games along with food. You all made the Game Fest truly festive, fun, and full of laughter.
From exciting matches to the joy of awarding trophies, every moment was special because of you. Together, we proved once again that BAC is not just a community — it’s a family.

🏏 Friendly Cricket Match Update: BAC vs. BSA-USC Columbia, SC

What a thrilling, friendly clash it was between Bangladesh Association Clemson (BAC) and Bangladesh Student Organization – USC, Columbia, SC! 🌟

🎉 Result: BAC claimed a dominant 5-wicket victory, chasing down 102/4 after restricting USC to 101/7 — a true display of teamwork, focus, and determination.

🏆 Man of the Match: Congratulations to Bandhan Dhar for his phenomenal bowling performance — 1 wicket, two back-to-back maiden overs, and only 4 runs conceded in his 4-over spell! A match-winning effort.

🔥 With the bat, Syed Rubaiyet Ferdous added fireworks to the chase with a quickfire 34 runs, ensuring BAC reached the target in style.

👏 Special thanks to Captain Rajib Islam and Vice-Captain Mainul Islam Joy for their sharp leadership, and deep appreciation to Abdullah Al Mamun bhai for his relentless dedication to BAC cricket.

🙌 Most importantly, every single player deserves recognition — from bowlers who kept the pressure on, to fielders who saved crucial runs, and batters who held their nerves. This victory belongs to the whole team, with each of you playing a pivotal role.

⚖️ A big shout-out to the umpire, especially Tawhid Bin Tarek bhai, for making perfect decisions throughout the game, ensuring fairness and a smooth contest — your role was crucial in keeping the spirit of cricket alive.
