We're excited to introduce Brian Garrison, one of the newest members of the Friends of the Green Crescent Trail Board of Directors!

Brian and his family live along the GCT and regularly walk and run on the trails with their two boys and golden retriever. After a long career in national sales, Brian now works locally and is eager to use his experience building partnerships to strengthen community engagement and help advance the Green Crescent Trail's mission.

Brian's favorite spot is Brooks Street connecting to Gateway Park and enjoys the quiet, tree-lined route where he can walk with his family and dog while staying connected to the heart of our community. Brian believes that the the trial is "Connecting communities and a valuable asset."

We're grateful to have Brian's enthusiasm, local perspective, and partnership experience helping us build a safer, healthier, and more connected future for Clemson, Central, and Pendleton.

Today we’re highlighting another new board member Chris Eleazer, a Friends of the Green Crescent Trail board member who believes connected trails can strengthen both community and quality of life.

Chris was inspired to get involved through his friend Justin Mann, whose passion for the Green Crescent Trail helped him see the value of a connected system of safe, walkable, and bikeable pathways across our communities.

Living in downtown Clemson and working in Seneca, Chris enjoys walking around the lake, campus, and downtown — and especially enjoys longer walks connecting Clemson, Central, and Pendleton. For him, trails are a way to experience different parts of the community while enjoying the outdoors.

As Chris puts it: “I am confident that the Green Crescent Trail will better connect our communities while giving people more opportunities to safely walk, bike, exercise, and enjoy the outdoors.”

We’re grateful for Chris’s enthusiasm and vision as we continue building a healthier, more connected future together. 💚
