BIG NEWS! 📣 The Arts Center is collaborating with the South Carolina Arts Commission on a $150,000, three-year partnership to replicate and bring our Artist-In-Residence Memory Care & Arts Program Model across the entire state. How are we bringing this vision to life?
🔸 Year 1: Focusing on training and research, which includes travel to the UK to bring international best practices back home.
🔸 Year 2: Developing a guidebook and training materials for others interested in this work.
🔸 Year 3: Hosting a symposium to introduce and share our findings.

This strategic partnership ensures our innovative program reaches and supports communities across all of South Carolina.

New Month, New Masterpieces! 🎨 Have a young artist at home? The September schedule for youth classes is officially here! From beginners on up, we have a seat for every young creator. Allow them to flex their creative muscles and register by Tuesday, September 1.

🚨 The City of Clemson Arts Center is looking for original, pumpkin-themed artwork for the 6th Annual Pumpkin Palooza T-Shirt Design Contest! Pumpkin Palooza is our annual celebration of all things pumpkin. 🎃

Designs must be 100% original, family-friendly, and limited to 1–3 colors. Please submit your work as a high-resolution PNG or JPEG file.

The winning artist will receive $100 for their design, a complimentary event t-shirt, and featured recognition across the Arts Center’s official website and social media.

CONGRATULATIONS to Arts Center Director Joan Rossini on her acceptance to the Global Arts In Medicine Fellowship (GAIMF)! 🎉 Following a highly competitive selection process involving applicants from over 40 countries, Joan's application stood out for its quality, depth, and strong alignment with GAIMF's mission to advance creative health, community wellbeing, and interdisciplinary global collaboration.

This fellowship reflects Joan's commitment to using creativity, culture, and compassion to transform health and strengthen communities. We are so proud she will soon have the opportunity to learn with people from all over the world and bring those insights back to Clemson. Way to go, Joan! 👏
