Throughout May, we had the privilege of loving on babies, siblings, multiples, and children of all ages entering foster care.
Some arrived with nothing.
Some arrived with a few belongings.
Some arrived carrying clothes that were never their size in the first place.
Then come the calls that change everything in an instant:
🩵 Can you take three siblings?
🩵 Can you take a newborn?
🩵 Can you take a teenager when you’ve only ever cared for little ones?
Overnight, one bed becomes three. One car seat becomes several. A family opens their heart, and suddenly they need resources they never expected to need.
In Forsyth County alone, more than 300 children are in foster care at any given time.
But those aren’t just numbers.
They are children with favorite colors, big dreams, unique personalities, fears, talents, and stories still being written.
Children who deserve safety, stability, and the chance to simply be kids.
Because of this community, foster families can say “yes” when the phone rings.
🤍 Yes to keeping siblings together.
🤍 Yes to welcoming a child they never planned for.
🤍 Yes to providing comfort, dignity, and hope from day one.
Every crib, bed, backpack, car seat, diaper, pantry item, book, bedding set, washcloth, toothbrush, and clothing item in these photos represents something bigger than a donation.
It represents a community showing up.
A community helping carry the weight.
A community making sure children and families don’t have to walk this journey alone.
Thank you for helping us light the way with love, hope, and resources❤️
