Having grown up on the mission field in Guadalajara, Mexico, Stan brings a lifelong passion for the Spanish language and culture into every class. With years of experience teaching homeschoolers across Johnson County, as well as students at Holy Cross Christian Academy, Stan creates an engaging, family-friendly environment where students of all ages can thrive. His classes combine experiential learning, music, technology, conversation, reading, writing, and hands-on activities to make Spanish exciting and memorable.

As a pastor, musician, educator, and grandfather, Stan’s heart for teaching shines through in every lesson as he encourages students to learn with confidence, enjoyment, and enthusiasm. We are so sad Mrs Sarah Morton has moved away and will be leaving us. But God provides, and we are excited to welcome Mrs Holly Stokes to our team as our new MS Social Studies teacher. 😍🙌

Holly earned her Bachelors through California Baptist University, and her Masters in Education through National University. She holds her social studies science teaching certificate, and has experience teaching in our local ISD’s. Check out her bio below!

Hi, I’m Holly! I’m a wife and mom to three adventurous boys—11‑year‑old twins and a
3‑year‑old. I love the Lord, and love sharing the joy of learning with my students. When I’m not
in the classroom or at the baseball fields, you can usually find me with a book in my hand, a kid
on my hip, or outside hiking, swimming, or biking my way through the day. I also love traveling
and discovering new places, especially when it means collecting memories (and snacks) with

Learning under experienced teachers gives students the opportunity to engage in meaningful class discussions, receive personalized feedback on writing, and study classic and modern literature in a structured, encouraging environment. These classes help homeschool families maintain academic accountability while still preserving the flexibility and values-centered approach of homeschooling. Let’s reintroduce Mrs Stephanie Fancher as a permanent part of our TEACH team! She came on as a substitute teacher for Mrs Bridges in Biology last year and we love her so much! Her Biology class was fun and hands on, with lots of learning and experiments!

My name is Stephanie Fancher. I love to teach Biology! I guess you can say, I’m just a group of highly organized cells teaching other groups of highly organized cells about even smaller groups of cells and the natural systems they can be found.

I’m a born and raised Texas girl, who got her degree in Science Education in Oklahoma. I’ve substituted all ages and taught at the secondary level since 2005. Science lends itself to “learn by doing”, so I love to incorporate as many labs and hands-on activities as possible. My goal for my students is to see and experience the joy of learning. I hope to help foster that positive connection.

I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for 21 years. We have three children, who are our greatest adventure. I enjoy cooking, working in my garden, learning to play guitar, and spending time with my family.

I’m thankful for this opportunity to teach at TEACH! Looking forward to a great year!
