The ORS Educational Opportunity Centers help you plan the education or training you need to have a g EOC programs are 100% federally funded by the U.S.

Educational Opportunity Centers (EOC) provide counseling and information on college admissions to qualified adults who want to enter or continue a program of postsecondary education. The program also provides services to improve the financial and economic literacy of participants. An important objective of the program is to counsel participants on financial aid options, including basic financial p

lanning skills, and to assist in the application process. Department of Education for a period of five years. There is no monetary cost to the participants, their families, or community sponsors and partners. EOC's serve a variety of individuals, including:
Veterans and their families
High School and college dropouts
Unemployed and low-wage earners

Melis and his mom came to the EOC Johnson County for FAFSA help after considering a $50k for-profit school. After speaking with one of our College Access Advisors he applied to Texas State Technical College instead, a top-notch and affordable option. With his FAFSA done, he's ready to start his education. Huge Congratulations to the OSHA 30 & NCCER CoreWorkforce Training Certificate Program graduates! ORS EOC partnered with Dallas College to assist with completing financial aid applications for each student so that they could become eligible for grant funding.
