Southwestern Adventist University Athletes Give Back Through CIA Cleburne Hope project.

Southwestern Adventist University’s soccer and basketball teams showed up and showed out last weekend as they joined Christmas In Action for a Hope project in Cleburne. Despite temperatures reaching 100° student athletes and their coaches worked together to scrape and paint the home, helping give the property a much-needed facelift. Coaches also assisted CIA volunteers with reconstructing and existing wheelchair ramp, while other team members tackled the yard, clearing, overgrown, vegetation, and debris. The athletes willingness to work in the extreme Heat demonstrated their commitment to serving the Cleburne community and putting their teamwork and energy to work off the court and field as well as on them.

Thank you to all the volunteers that helped to make this homeowners way of life easier. We build and install wheel chari ramps in our community, we are always looking for some small group or organization that can go back and stain or paint these ramps after being installed.
