The heat was on at today’s open team tournament on Lake Alvarado! Both temperature and fishing! 🥵 We had 19 teams fish and here are the results:
1️⃣- Jason & Cooper with 5 bass weighing 24.59 pounds
2️⃣- Mason (solo) with 5 bass weighing 24.50 pounds
3️⃣- Brad & Guy with 5 bass weighing 23.23 pounds
4️⃣- Chris & Charlie with 5 bass weighing 15.71 pounds
5️⃣- Nick & Troy with 5 bass weighing 15.29 pounds
🐟 Big bass of the day was a 9.38 pound TANK caught by team Jason & Cooper! Numerous other fish over 6 pounds were also weighed in by other teams.

Our May open team tournament is this coming Sunday! This month we’re on Lake Alvarado. Take off will be at 6:00am (air horn shotgun start) until 1:30pm. $60 per team includes $10 towards the big bass pot. Big bass pays one place and tournament pays 1:5. Normal 5 fish limit must be 14” minimum. See y’all there!

A little bit of light rain and a lot of wind didn’t keep 14 hardcore anglers off of Lake Aquilla today for our May club tournament. Thanks guys for making it out today! Here are the results:
1️⃣- Russell Farmer with 5 bass weighing 16.61 pounds
2️⃣- Michael Semler with 5 bass weighing 13.60 pounds
3️⃣- Ronnie Griggs with 5 bass weighing 11.21 pounds
🐟 Big bass honors goes to Russell Farmer with a 3.78 pounder
💵 Side pot winner was Russell Farmer

Next tournament coming up is our monthly open team tournament on Lake Alvarado on May 31st. $60 per team. Solo is fine as well. Safe light until 1:30pm

Warm and windy the next couple of days! Daily rain chances begin Sunday and are here to stay for a bit. Highs will be slightly lower thanks to rain and added cloud cover.

🚨 Important info from tonight’s monthly club meeting 🚨
Due to this Sunday being Mother’s day, the members voted tonight to move the May club tournament to NEXT Sunday, May 17th. Lake Aquilla. Dairy Hill boat ramp. Tournament hours are 6:15am to 2:15pm. Lake is off limits the 15th and 16th.

The weather is going to be great this Saturday!
We are going to be filling the boats with lunkers and 'reeling' in the memories, come join us for our 9th Annual Bass Fishing Tournament on Saturday, May 2nd at McCown Valley, Lake Whitney!

We have had two recent tournaments that we need to get caught up on posting about. Big congratulations to these people on their recent finishes. 👏
First up is the results from our April club tournament on Lake Leon on 4/19. We had 21 members and 1 guest fishing.
1️⃣- Greg Williams with 5 bass weighing 19.03 pounds
2️⃣- Lamar Hull with 5 bass weighing 11.45 pounds
3️⃣- Ronnie Griggs with 3 bass weighing 11.16 pounds

🐟 Big Bass honors goes to the team of Don & Gary with a nice 5.78 pounder.

Looks like beautiful weather finally for this weekend’s club tournament on Lake Leon. Just a reminder tournament hours are 7:00am to 3:00pm at the Dam boat ramp. Lake is off limits Friday and Saturday.

Also next Sunday, April 26th is the April open team tournament at Lake Whitney. Safe light until 1:30pm at the McCown Valley park boat ramp. No off limits period for this tournament. Only $60 per team.
